Last year of my twenties, can you believe it? Next year, I'll be diving headfirst into my thirties. Crazy, right? This time around, I kept things low-key again, but with a twist. Instead of holing up in a hotel room all by myself, I grabbed a cake from Coffee Bean and shared it with my fam. Sometimes, it's the simple moments with loved ones that really make the day special. 💕

Okay, so here's part two of the Pandora's box. After diving deep into some shadow work, I finally started to understand why that moment hit me so hard. Turns out, he bears a striking resemblance to my biological father—like, 20% similar. And that's where things got all tangled up in my head. It felt like this weird father-daughter moment, you know? I know, I sound totally bonkers, but hey, that's what TikTok therapists are for, right? Though, yeah, maybe I should consider talking to a legit psychologist. But anyway, I've come to realize that expecting that kind of treatment from any guy is just not fair. I mean, I can't go asking for something I never got from my own dad. It's not a boyfriend's job to play babysitter to my inner child.

So, today's my birthday, and guess what? This morning, I went and sprained my ankle. Yep, talk about bad timing, right? I texted him about it, and honestly, he was pretty shocked. I mean, I totally messed up our birthday plans. But you know what? He was super patient with me, like surprisingly patient. I'm not sure why he was being so sweet to me. It's kinda throwing me off. We're not officially together or anything, but he's treating me like we are. Plus, he's the first guy I've ever brought home to meet my mom. It's all just got me feeling really confused, you know?
