22nd Chapter

Back to square one with a blank slate after three years away from the blog. Time for a fresh start as I hit 22 on February 19th. I'm diving back into writing with a more grown-up perspective. I'm currently in my junior year, studying Mineral Resources Engineering for my degree. Sixth semester already - next stop, senior year and my final project. It's getting real, and I'm feeling a mix of excitement and nerves about entering the working world. What does it even mean to be an adult, and how do I make it in my industry? Thinking back to my time at Kolej Mara Kulim from 2013 to 2014, those were the foundation years for me. Pre-University USM student, thanks to a scholarship from MARA (more like a loan, let's be honest). That period opened my eyes to a whole new world beyond high school. Now, I'm on the hunt for internships, a requirement for this June. Turns out, it's tougher than I thought.

After he walked away that day, I couldn't shake the feeling that I needed to give it one more shot. I hated myself for feeling so desperate, but I just couldn't let go. Pandora Box (part 2)

Okay, so here's part two of the Pandora's box. After diving deep into some shadow work, I finally started to understand why that moment hit me so hard. Turns out, he bears a striking resemblance to my biological father—like, 20% similar. And that's where things got all tangled up in my head. It felt like this weird father-daughter moment, you know? I know, I sound totally bonkers, but hey, that's what TikTok therapists are for, right? Though, yeah, maybe I should consider talking to a legit psychologist. But anyway, I've come to realize that expecting that kind of treatment from any guy is just not fair. I mean, I can't go asking for something I never got from my own dad. It's not a boyfriend's job to play babysitter to my inner child.

27th Chapter

So, today's my birthday, and guess what? This morning, I went and sprained my ankle. Yep, talk about bad timing, right? I texted him about it, and honestly, he was pretty shocked. I mean, I totally messed up our birthday plans. But you know what? He was super patient with me, like surprisingly patient. I'm not sure why he was being so sweet to me. It's kinda throwing me off. We're not officially together or anything, but he's treating me like we are. Plus, he's the first guy I've ever brought home to meet my mom. It's all just got me feeling really confused, you know?
